About 21st Century Warfare

Organized Battlefield campaigns. Real leadership. Real camaraderie. The way it’s meant to be played.

Our Mission

21st Century Warfare (21CW) is a long-running, player-organized campaign community built around large-scale, teamwork-first Battlefield gameplay. We recreate a “the way it’s meant to be played” experience: strategy, chain of command, coordinated operations, and a persistent war fought over weeks— not a single round.

  • Teamwork-first: Divisions and Companies with clear leadership and roles.
  • Persistent campaign: Territories change hands based on your performance each week.
  • Fair play: Sportsmanship, zero tolerance for toxicity, and admin-reviewed rules.
  • Accessible: Onboarding paths for new and returning players. If you’re coachable, you’re welcome.

Where We Came From

21CW grew out of the Battlefield 2 era, when weekend operations and modded experiences brought squads together for serious, organized play. Generations of players learned comms, leadership, and combined-arms tactics here. Today, we’re bringing that spirit forward for Battlefield 6—same DNA, modern infrastructure, and a bigger tent for creators, streamers, and modders.

Origins

Volunteer organizers launch league-style campaigns on classic Battlefield, proving the format: two factions, weekly ops, war room strategy.

Culture

Medals, ribbons, AARs, and officer roles formalize a “play with purpose” identity that keeps veterans coming back and makes newcomers feel part of something.

Now

Rebuilt for BF6 with a modern web stack, Discord integration, creator programs, and Portal SDK plans—so the campaign can adapt and thrive.

How 21CW Is Organized

Our format is Division vs Division. Each Division fields multiple Companies (infantry, armor, air, recon, support), led by Captains and overseen by a BFCO. Companies are manned across the operation window so your side always fields a coordinated force.

Roster & Roles

  • BFCO / Command Staff: Sets strategy and objectives for the week.
  • Captains (CO/XO): Lead Companies; assign squads and specialty roles.
  • Squad Leaders: Teach comms, drive objectives, mentor new players.
  • Members: The backbone. Show up, follow the plan, have fun.

Weekly Rhythm

  • Practice Night: Division/company practices, scrims, and drills.
  • Main Operation (Sat, 12-hour window): Scheduled in shifts so Companies keep the server manned throughout.
  • After Action Review: Highlights, feedback, and medal recommendations.

The Campaign

Each season focuses on a map theater and an evolving set of objectives. Territories on the campaign map are gained or lost based on operation outcomes, attendance, and mission performance. We publish weekly intel drops so every player knows the story, the stakes, and the plan.

  • Strategic Objectives: Sector control, asset denial, logistics, or special ops.
  • Scorekeeping: Transparent rules announced pre-season; results archived for posterity.
  • Balance: Admin/Rules Council reviews rosters and matchups to keep things competitive.

Medals, Ribbons, and Recognition

Meritorious play is recognized through a curated medals/ribbons catalog. Awards are proposed in AARs and confirmed by Command Staff. Earned items display on your 21CW profile and can be showcased in your dynamic signature generator.

  • Performance: Objective play, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
  • Longevity: Campaign service, reliability, and mentorship.
  • Special Commendations: Heroics, rescues, clutch plays, mission saves.

Portal & Modding Plans

We maintain a Portal Hub for curated experiences, rulesets, and (where possible) SDK-powered scenarios to support training and campaign variants. Our goal is to enable reliable practice servers and cinematic events that fit the 21CW campaign tone.

  • Experience codes & quick-join links in the Portal Hub.
  • Rule presets that match campaign standards (weapons, vehicles, tickets, respawns).
  • Creator submissions reviewed for balance and clarity.

Streamers & Creators

21CW is creator-friendly. We coordinate stream-safe comms zones, supply overlays/branding kits, and amplify standout content. Want to cast operations or produce recap videos? Talk to us—we have roles.
